Shem Creek South Carolina, we went to a restaurant on the water and it was so romantic, after lunch we walked down the dock and bought some fresh shrimp to do a Low Country Boil (Frog More Stew) with our friends that evening.

Matt has Fridays off and honestly at first I was not excited about this, after much prayer I have begun to look forward to Fridays. We are having such a great time with each other. We spend so much time with the kids that it seems like an eternity since we've invested in each other. We have been exploring all our surroundings here in the Charleston area and I wanted to share some pictures..

Our friends had a beach house for the weekend and invited us, the weather was kinda crappy but we still had a blast and found all kinds of goodies on the beach. My kiddos and there daddy loved getting starfish , and sandollars, heres a pic of Matt digging out a horseshoe crab I was screaming yuck!! I'll share more pics later, this was way back on Valentines Day. I really need to catch up.

I know it's been a long time since I've blogged but I haven't had pictures and I love a blog that has pics. to accompany it.

As some of you have been enjoying your freezing tempertures, I am so thankful to Jesus for moving us here, to sunny South Carolina. We have been basking in the high 70's and 80. We went from feezing our buns, not litterally high 40'sbut still I was cold to more normal tempsof 70's woo hoo I'm lovin it.

So here we go.

1. I smell everything, this drives my family crazy, especially my sis and her husband. When I say everything I mean everything. When I pick somehting up I tend to smell it laundry, boxes, papers anything and everything. This does create a problem because I do have a very strong nose and I can smell things a mile, away according to my dad. I've had to leave stores and other places just because the smell and I'll throw this one in for free when my friend Chenoa makes her coffee (brown soup) just the smell of it makes me poop, then there's another smell ewe!!

2. I drive with one foot up in the seat and pick my toe nails, I know this sounds gross but rest assured I am a germ aphoab and I hand sanatize before i exit the car.

3. Wich brings me to another, my germ fears I am betternow but I still go nuts over public places I always has waterless soap and always offer it and push it on whom ever is closest. Ok I insist my family use it when we are out, Ry is all for it, Chan roles his eyes at me and Matt says don't you have something a little more manly?

4. Ok since this is the Honest tag I'll be real honest i toot around close friends and guess what they're still my friends. If you can't be real with your friends then you can't call them friends I don't know why we find it funny D & S it's almost like we're men sometimes. Pee ewe!!! Anyway when we are shopping I am a dear friend and let them know to keep moving or go down a different aisle. Not an excuse but I do suffer from IBS and have gas 90% of the time.

5. I love to pop zits. Ok I know thats gross but poop fasinates some of you so come on go with me here. I will not eat a pea to this day because it reminds me of zits popping.

6. I have a unusally long 2nd toe. I have always been self concious about this and as a kid I never would wear open toed scandals. My friend Larissa has helped me overcome my obsession by telling me she loves my long thin toes and I have model feet (she's a good bser) j/k anyway I have overcome this and wear flipflops everyday!!!

7. OK IF YOUR READ CHENOAS HONEST TAG THEN THIS WILL MAKES SENSE TO YOU. The weirdest (j/k) thing about me is I still faithfully attented Chenoas aerobic classes after she told me she didn't wear panties when she taught class. LOL The craziest was when she was doing floor stretches and she opened her legs and said over the mic. oh I have a hole. LOL I almost lost it, she crackes me up!! No more opened legs the rest of the class.

My goofy, crazy sister found out on her way to her 30th birthday bash that she did not have cancer in her lymph nodes. Praise GOD thank you all for your prayers, she is still in a lot of pain from her surgery but all and all she's doing much better and already lost 10lbs just by eating healthy. She now has to take care of herself and constantly check herself for changed moles and any lumps. Happy Birthday MANDA BETH I love YOU!!!!!!!!

My sister went through surgery well on Monday and they are hopeful that they got it all. We will find out more on Friday so please continue to pray for her and her family. This is just one year ago Matty was only 2-3 weeks old.

My sister Amanda, has been diagnosed with Melanoma (cancer). Man is 29 with a wonderful husband and 3 wonderful children. Man, is my best friend she's funny, smart, beautiful, and a blast to hang out with, she always keeps me in stitches. I believe with prayer God will heal her and give her peace of mind. Please pray with me and pray that she'll be an even stronger Christian on the other side of cancer. Cancer sucks, but GOD is greater than these things!!!

Just kidding, a lot has been going on here we recieved orders from GOD to Charleston Air Force Base in South Carolina and I can't wait!!!! Thank you JESUS!! My mom , sisters , and myself went down to SC and bought a house, we had a blast. My husband started riding dirt bikes again in March and on Father's Day had another mishap, my poor goofy husband is in a wheel chair with no weight on his feet until mid September. He has another long road ahead with a move across the country, Motocross sucks! Any how here's some recent pics.

My dear sweet Sheri came to visit us a couple weeks ago. We had a blast The weather was actually 65 and sunny, we had massages and Cheesecake Factory and then shopped all day, what a wonderful day. When My mom and Gram came, we had a party for Ry with what's left of our close friends(everyone has moved) and then on her actual day we went to CoCo Keys water park. In the North it's popular to have indoor water parks to use all year round. It was very expensive but we had a blast. I was sore for days, my mom showed me all her water aerobics, whew I thought I was in shape. It was a blast to see my mom and the kids together, that doesn't usually happen, my mom has 9 other grandchildren so they got her undivided attention this time.

FAMILY FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Matt's mom, dad, sis Jenny and some day brother in-law Jeremy came to share in the Christmas spirit in good ole freezing Offutt Air Force Base Nebraska (go Big Red). Just kidding don't worry One I am not a Cornhusker yet.

Anyway we had a blast and wished they all could have stayed longer. They had to venture back to St. Louis for the rest of the family. My mom and Grandma will come next month for Ry's 10th birthday. I'm still awaiting a visit from my best friend!!!!!!!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

As you see Matt is up and walking, he of course isn't 100% but with God's help we're expecting a full recovery. We call him Herman Munster but he makes leaps and bounds everyday. He recieves PT 3x a week, and they now have him on the treadmill going 2MPH woo hooo honey you keep trucking and you'll be running the Omaha marathon next September.

Fall is here and it's just a reminder that winter is around the corner. Yuck but God did make everything beautiful and if some people think a Blizzard is beautiful well then ok, but I myself was very agrivated last winter when one hit.

Rylea will start cheer compition real soon November 18th to be exact and she is working her little but off. Chan starts basketball soon and hopefully will shine.

Matt had his Dr. appointment this week and he should be able to up and start walking in about 4 weeks. The Dr. said he is healing very nicely and doesn't see why he shouldn't have a full recovery. So he started back to work on Wednesday, light duty of course 3-4 hours a day. I don't really miss him yet but I'm sure I'll be lonely this week.

My friend Larissa just had her 4th baby on Friday afternoon and he is adorable so so sweet. I don't however miss the days. Congrats you crazy kids, keep poppin im out.

This will be my last week of Bible study and I'm so sad. I do recomend the study to everyone it is so good!!!! He Speaks To Me by Priscilla Shirer foreword by Beth Moore

There is very little homework each weekday maybe about 20 min or so and so eye opening.

I just thought, since I am the one with the most time on my hands, to blog on Jen's behalf. We are very excited, today we finally upgraded the 1996 Taurus that we bought brand new at Friendly Ford in Las Vegas. It is being replaced by a 2004 VW Passat GLS with all the cool stuff. As you can see, Chan and Rylea really like the sun roof. Jen is one step closer the BMW she has always wanted since I've known her. The major reason for the purchase is that we needed something that was better on gas for our daily driver. Our neighbor is buying the Taurus from us.

That is all I can write for know, I am totally side tracked watching extra innings between the Yankees and the Indians. I would love to see the Indians go up 2-0 in the series.

Ok my husband decided he would make me a blog page and as I sit here and pass gas he still calls me gorgeous and loves me. What a guy!!!!

But seriously I have never done this and Kim's page is the first time I have ever followed a blog. Ok I lied my friend Chenoa adopted a little girl from China and I followed her page everyday as I anxiously awaited her arrival.(She's been here almost a whole year now)

Anyway I'm an Air Force Wife and a mother of 2 beautiful children. Chandler is 12 and Rylea is 9 This is Chan's first year in middle school and yes I am learning to let go(I said learning that means it's a process)Chan is an awesome baseball player and he just finished is first season in football(his coach said he was an animal) All I know is he looked very cute. Ry is in 4th grade and doing very good, she is on student council and she is a Cougar cheerleader, Boy is she good.

My little sister just had her 3rd baby and she is beautiful!!!! She's definitly one of the most gorgeous things I've ever seen. My older sister is the mother of 6, she's crazy but believe it or not she still has hair and alot of it to be exact. My sisters are amazing!!!! One with 3 kids and one with 6 WOW!!!

My wonderful husband is now 7 weeks away from learning how to walk again and I cannot wait!!! I have to go as you probally already figured it out I am on the go all the time. It's time for th Pancake Man at Ry's school.
